The Boone County Historical Society offices are located at the Boone History Center.
Offices are not staffed on a regular basis and there are no employees. Our all-volunteer Board of Directors are at the Center at irregular times, however, the History Center is open for tours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Just east of Ogden at the junction of County Rd E41 & J Ave
Open by Appointment only. Call Doug Nebbe, President of Battin Heritage Association, at 515-275-2427 and leave a message if you’d like to schedule a visit.
Kate Shelley Park & Museum
