DONOR PAGE:  There will be a Donor’s Page in our upcoming Trail Tales magazine. To become a Trail Tales Donor, the minimum donation is $25.00 per issue. Donor’s names will also be listed on this website on our new Donor page. You can contribute to as many Trail Tales issues as you wish; we will notify members when a new one is planned.


SUSTAINING MEMBER PAGE:  For a donation of $5.00 per month, Sustaining Members’ names will appear in our Trail Tales issues and on this website on the Donors page.



On the 5th day of each month people aged 60 and up can purchase a membership 20% off.

Board Meeting Dates

Board meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month, starting at 6:30 p.m., in the basement meeting room of the History Center. Entrance is on 6th Street. These meetings are open to the public and are an excellent chance for you to learn what is happening and how you can help chart the future of the center. Due to the pandemic, masks and social distancing are required to attend. 


Hours of Operation

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all of our museums and the History Center are closed. If you need to contact one of our all-volunteer Board members, you can call 515-432-1907 and leave a message, or email us at the address below. Phone messages left may take 2-3 days for a response.
